::::two prayers::::

"Heavenly Father, I humbly come before you to thank you for the good works you are performing in my life. I thank you for blessing me that I can be a source of comfort to others. Lord Jesus, I call upon your name and ask you to save me and all those who have requested that I pray for them. I come to you to ask that you heal the hearts of those in pain and in need. Father, restore their hearts with the joy of salvation. Cause them to remember that all things are possible through YOU. The word says, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Phillipians 4:13) "Count it all to joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience." (James 1:2-3) Father, you said you'd be with us and promised us your wisdom and strength through every adversity. Father help us to forgive those who have sought to cause us harm. "I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more." (Jeremiah 31:34) You said we must "Love [our] enemies, do good to those who hate [us], bless those who curse [us], pray for those who mistreat [us]." (Luke 6:27-28) Father, we ask that you lead us to forgive others as you have forgiven us. We humbly ask that just as you poured the balm of mercy on us, you salve the souls of those who have hurt us. In Jesus' name, Amen.
.......

::::Coming back::::

I was on the bus and I passed a church billboard that said
You are overdressed when wrapped up in yourself
It really resonated within me...I have not been to church recently. Not that I've lost the desire, but just plain complacency...I have gotten caught up in my own "ish" and have been doing the home to work, get the babies, go to bed merry-go-round...found myself thinking, it's too much trouble to get there by bus...it's a hassle with the girls...and just not gone. I have found myself sleeping way too much just because I feel so drained all the time...

Heavenly Father, I pray that you help me to restore myself to you. Help me back onto your path. Heavenly Father, I thank you that you have continued to bless me and my family despite my pulling away from you and your word. Heavenly Father, I thank you for the healing power that come through your son Jesus Christ. Father, I pray that today and always my words and actions reflect yourself and your teachings. May I lead by example through my actions. Father, in Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

GOD WANTED ME TO TELL YOU

It shall be well with you this year. No matter how much your enemies try this year, they will not succeed. You have been destined to make it and you shall surely achieve all your goals this year. For the remaining months of the year, All your agonies will be diverted and victory and prosperity will be incoming in abundance. Today God has confirmed the end of your sufferings, sorrows, and pains because HE that sits on the throne has remembered you. He has taken away the hardships and given you JOY. He will never let you down.

I received the above in an e-mail from one of my aunts. It really expresses how I feel. I feel truly blessed! My oldest child was in a car accident on Wednesday. She was on her way to the school bus stop when she was hit by a car. That is one of the most terrifying moments as a parent: to receive a call like that at work. I almost passed out immediately. I went into a state of shock. Regretfully, I didn't go immediately to the ER b/c I was scared (having flashbacks of my mother's death) and I need to keep my job. By the time I got to Texas Children's Hospital, she was transferred from the ER to the IRC? and about to be discharged.

God is truly good all the time and prayer really works! My baby did not have any broken bones or serious injuries. Praise God! She went to church that same night, achy and sore, but full of praise for the Lord! Unfortunately, I had to go to work to make up my hours.
